We worked with our friends at Union Street Papery to create Allison and Ryan’s beautiful springtime wedding invitations. Chambray and tea rose letterpress inks are the perfect spring color combination, and accent the florals of the frame. We used several watercolor motifs from our library to make the details card more unique. Our Emmerich liner in chambray was the perfect finishing detail.

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Ashley and Tyler through our NYC studio to create their beautiful custom rose invitation suite. We’ll let Ashley take it from here to share more about their wedding details!
CAN YOU SHARE WITH US A BIT ABOUT YOUR WEDDING AND YOUR INSPIRATION FOR THE EVENT?
Our wedding was held at the Bel-Air Bay Club in Pacific Palisades, CA. Ashley used to live in LA and while we joke that we had our wedding in CA instead of FL because of her curly hair, the truth is that she cried at the venue when we went to go see it. Getting married on a cliffside overlooking the ocean in CA has always been Ashley’s dream, and it quickly became Tyler’s dream too. Our wedding was inspired by French and Italian gardens we visited while on our engagement trip to Paris and Lake Como. We began watching Bridgerton together early on in our dating so we were also inspired by old European charm and romance. We wanted a garden theme, but set in LA with an ocean view. Tyler grew up on the Jersey Shore, so some surfers in the background brings back wonderful childhood memories of surfing in NJ.
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE MOMENT?
Our first look – I definitely recommend doing this as it gives you private time together before you walk down the aisle. My husband did not want to do it at first, but I am so glad we did. He cried!!
HOW DID YOU CHOOSE YOUR INVITATION DESIGN & INK COLORS?
We had already mostly nailed down our florals for the wedding. We knew there would be a lot of pinks and peaches to compliment the Spanish style architecture. Our flowers really informed our choices for our invitations.

WHAT SURPRISED YOU MOST ABOUT YOUR WEDDING?
How fast it went. People always say the day goes by fast, but really it goes by in a second! Soak it all in!!!
WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE FOR COUPLES CURRENTLY PLANNING A WEDDING?
Do the planning together, it is so much more fun when you are both involved. Tyler never missed a call with our wedding planner, and he always had input on what we were working on – whether it was the invitation font, or the wine we would choose for our guests to accompany their meals. Every last detail was planned by both of us alongside our wedding planner, Katie. Katie is amazing by the way!!
WHAT’S NEXT FOR THE NEWLYWEDS?
We enjoyed an amazing honeymoon in Bali, Singapore, and the Maldives. Now we are getting ready for my best-friend’s wedding in November in Carmel Valley. It’s so fun to be able to help her now that we have been through planning a wedding ourselves.
We worked with our friends at Oliver’s Twist to create Breann and Quentin’s stunning invitation suite. We started with our Loley design, and customized it to fit the wedding colors and style. Copper shine foil stamping and tea rose letterpress on the invitation pairs beautifully with the foil stamped khaki reply card. Floral details from our elegant garden pattern are featured on the reply card and liner. The liner and envelope bring bolder tones of rose; we love how the suite came together.

Looking for an invitation as lovely as your wedding? Look no further! These light and sweet letterpress wedding invitations created by Katherine McCutcheon are sure to fit the bill. While we in Syracuse are about to take on the snowy, winter months, the Avon design reminds of us those fresh, bright summer days. The designer said, “A garden wedding with colorful floral arrangements are the perfect compliment to the watercolor details of this design. There is a large focus on grays, geometric shapes, and abstract imagery in modern design. While that all has its place, I don’t think a traditional watercolor will ever go out of style.”
We had the pleasure of printing these bridal shower invitations based on our Nightfall design for Sarah’s bridal shower held at the iconic Freds at Barneys in New York. The sweet palette of tawny foil and tea rose highlighted the edgy, modern design and paired nicely with the geometric envelope liner in the palest of pinks.

Ashley and William customized our Ophelia design to create these lovely two-tone pink rose gold wedding invitations for their Moss Mountain Farm wedding. The rose gold foil highlighted the couple’s names and parts of the handdrawn cartouche along with the solid foil envelope liner.
letterpress ink: tea rose | foil stamping: rose gold shine | font: mina | paper: bella cotton white 1-ply | envelope: bella cotton white pointed flap | foil stamped liner: classic color pattern in rose gold | customization #37260
Bella and her family worked with our friends at Ipanema Press on the design of these foil and letterpress sweet sixteen invitations for her Oheka Castle celebration. The ladylike palette of tea rose and taupe letterpress was accented with pearl foil, used to add subtle shine to the falling snowflakes. The submitted silhouette of the venue, whimsical hand calligraphy from Debi Zeinert and custom pastel pink envelopes all added to the charming, princess-like feel of the suite.
Jessica Downs used a new font, new motif and new ink color to bring Ophelia to life. For a touch of drama, she added one of our new flora envelope liners.
