It’s always a treat to see our invitations in print, and in the latest issue of Weddings in Houston magazine we spotted not one, not two, but seven (!) of our designs! Their current Spring/Summer 2017 issue included a variety of invitation styles, and they opened up their special stationery section with a full-page photograph of our Sweet Christine design. A modern marbling spread included our modern Wilder and Onyx invitations, while the facing page showed off our Natura and Leyton suites. The last spread of this special stationery feature included our rich blue Garden Sun invitation, along with a fun round-up of tropical designs where our Traditional Palm design took center stage. Many thanks to Weddings in Houston for including so many of our invitation designs!
Karen’s friends hosted a birthday luncheon in her honor at San Francisco’s Catherine Clark Gallery. Our Onyx design set the tone for the gathering, giving guests a hint of the gallery’s collection of contemporary art. Thanks to our friends at Union Street Papery for helping create these marble birthday invitations!

If you’ve been by the Bella Figure flagship store recently, you’ve seen our sweet collaboration with Madison Lee’s Cakes: invitation inspired cakes! We worked with Madison to create a collection of cakes inspired by some of our invitations, opting for a few modern styles for one half of the window, and a selection of floral designs for the other. Madison recreated our English Garden design by Chelsea Petaja in cake form with hand painted watercolor florals that look just like the invitation! Our Adele design by Ellie Snow inspired a second cake, with handmade sugar flowers adorning the top and piped gold florals cascading down the sides.
The more modern side of the window features our geometric Briolette design by Ellie Snow, our on-trend, marbled Onyx design by Jamie Lea Bertsch, and our ever-popular confetti inspired Joie de Vivre by Kamal. The Joie de Vivre cake includes hundreds of hand cut, hand painted gold sugar confetti pieces!
And last, but certainly not least, our entryway display! Madison created a petite cake modeled after the sea-side Vincent customization we created for the spring 2016 issue of New York Weddings magazine, with a watercolor effect and splashes of metallic gold.

Onyx is one of our absolute favorite new designs for 2016 (but to be fair we love them all!). So we kept the beautifully modern bones of Jamie Bertsch’s original design but softened it up just a touch with a neutral palette and flourished fonts for a slightly more feminine look.
