Katie Magee designed Fairefolk, part of our 2024 wedding collection and shares her inspiration behind the suite:
Fairefolk was one of those rare designs that flowed together quite easily. While searching for inspiration for one of our past holiday releases, I came across a blush pink, dusty blue, and soft beige color palette that I fell in love with, but it didn’t feel quite right for anything holiday-related. So, even though we were still in the thick of holiday designs, I started toying around with the color palette for a wedding design. I had just finished knitting a Fair Isle inspired hat for a friend’s baby, and the idea of some modern folk art motifs felt like they could mesh well with this color palette.
I created a handful of folk art style motifs, built out the arched border for the invitation, and then used the same motifs throughout the suite for consistency without feeling too repetitive, and not overpowering the modern typography.

As with all of our designs, we can customize the colors of Fairefolk. Below is a mockup with spruce and lavender letterpress on ivory stock.
We worked with our friends at Smitten Boutique to create these gorgeous tonal wedding invitations. The names are embossed in Bigilla Bold. Rosebud letteprress is used thought the suite. The old rose reception card letterpressed in rosebud creates a tonal effect that mirrors embossing on the white cotton invitation.
We worked with our friends at Shindig Paperie to bring this gorgeous modern suite to life. Our Vero suite was the starting point, and an embossed monogram was added. The reply card features a border created from our Kalino pattern. The blue envelope features a Kalino patterned liner, pulling the whole suite together.

We worked with Smitten Boutique to create these gold monogrammed wedding invitations for Nicole and Aaron. They opted for an ornate, flourished script font that pairs with the equally ornate monogram. They added a splash of color with our Prussian Blue letterpress ink on the reply card that coordinates with the envelopes as well. Our Old Rose paper also makes an appearance in this suite printed in Gold Matte foil to keep everything cohesive. Both the envelope liner and belly-band appear in our Gold Leaf metallic stock as the finishing touch to the set.
Jennifer and Michael worked with our Bella Figura NYC – Brooklyn store to create these vintage floral wedding invitations. Inspired by our Ninette design, they changed the florals to a purple color palette. They opted to keep the typography clean and in Gold Matte foil. A corresponding details card also used florals in a different way to change it up. Finally, the envelope liner used the same floral pattern from the invitation for overall cohesiveness.
We worked with Smitten Boutique to create these bronze baby shower invitations. They opted for our sweet and petite A6 size card for this design. A small dragonfly motif nodded to the vintage print envelope liner. The envelope itself in Old Rose complimented the colors found in the envelope liner. Caterpillars, as well as dragonflies alike, made up this vintage print that works harmoniously with the invitation design.
Our Bella Figura – Brooklyn store helped bring Zoey’s prism shine Bat Mitzvah invitations together. They decided to keep the original design from Ayla with a few personal twists of their own. They opted for Old Rose letterpress ink as the neutral for the Prism Shine foil elements. A Shabbat Dinner card mimicked the design of the invitation but instead printed in all Old Rose ink. The outer envelope tied the Old Rose elements together. Finally, a full flood of Prism Shine foil added even more pops of color to the overall suite.
