Rounding out our posts of fun letterpress save the dates for the week, these are two cool customizations we printed for weddings this past summer. The first is our Surya design printed in rich amethyst and pool inks. We love this pairing of pretty jewel tones and suspect this will be a continuing trend in the months to come.
This letterpress save the date is a really fun customization of our Sailboat design in garden and navy inks. It’s really the perfect save the date for this couple’s wedding, which took place in the beautiful Thousand Islands region of Upstate NY, not too far from our studio in Syracuse.
Printing really adorable letterpress baby announcements sure is great fun for us! These customized letterpress announcements are among our favorites of those we’ve recently printed and it’s easy to see why – they are so completely cute!
This particular letterpress baby announcement is perfect for welcoming a little boy. It’s our Airplane design printed in navy and taupe inks on our ivory cotton paper. It’s a touch masculine, but still perfectly playful and child-like.
Our Owl letterpress baby announcement is one of our most popular designs. This customized version is printed in bright daffodil paired with downy ink. We printed these festive letterpress invitations for the rehearsal dinner of Jo and Jared for their New York City wedding. In our Buttonpom design, they are festively printed in navy and fuchsia inks and are a bit informal, but a whole lot festive – perfect for a rehearsal dinner celebration! We can think of no better way to invite your friends and family to join you for dinner and merriment than with a fun letterpress rehearsal dinner invitation. These are officially a new favorite!
Perfect for a summer wedding or a beach-side destination wedding, we’re completely in love with these Nautlius letterpress save the dates we recently printed. A fabulous 1-color letterpress design printed in navy ink, these save the dates are the definition of preppy chic. The Nautilus design is one of our favorites, because it features a choice of several different motifs including the crab shown here, a palm tree, starfish, anchor, and others, all perfect for any nautical-themed event. We think it’s fun, festive and yet completely sophisticated – a sure sign of good things to come for guests at this wedding!
We love Seasonal, one of our fun new letterpress wedding invitation designs for 2009 designed for us by Tara Hogan of Ink + Wit. With four interchangeable design motifs, one for each season, couples can match their design to the style and date of their wedding in a really cheerful and unexpected way. The sample depicts “Autumn” and is letterpress printed in Persimmon and French Vanilla inks.

This lovely version of Seasonal that we recently printed features “Spring” printed in Navy and Lime inks and is really fresh and modern in a very cheerful way. How could a guest receive this invitation and not be completely excited to attend this wedding? We just adore how bright and fun this invitation set is and how completely different the look is from the original sample design. This is another of example of how making a design your own can really add a special personalized touch to your letterpress wedding invitations.
This letterpress wedding invitation is printed in a custom dark blue ink and features lots and lots of gorgeous, hand-drawn calligraphy by our master calligrapher Debi Zeinert.

Here are two more variations of our bestselling Deveril letterpress invitation design: an elegant letterpress save the date in navy, and a letterpress menu, tied with a ribbon & finished with a jewel (wow!). We love the Deveril design for a lot of reasons, but in part we love its historical and joyful nature, its sophistication, and its warm sweet energy all its own.
