The summer 2018 issue of Martha Stewart Weddings features trending wedding stationery for 2018 and we are thrilled to spot our “Sun-Kissed Celebration” Limon wedding invitation in their Style section. Designed by Jessica Downs, Limon highlights watercolor artwork with a fresh pop of vivid yellow and green hues and features black letterpress ink. Many thanks to Martha Stewart Weddings for this feature.
It’s always special to be featured in an issue of Martha Stewart Weddings magazine, but when the real wedding feature happens to be for an editor of the magazine? Well, that’s just the icing on the cake. We were thrilled to work with Katie on the invitations for her Shelter Island wedding last September. Katie and her husband Samuel chose a botanical theme for their wedding to reflect the wild nature of the island, and included a variety of flora and fauna motifs featuring native animals and plants that would be in season in late summer. Katie shared that “everything featured was actually on the island, with the exception of the blue cranes, a nod to Samuel’s last name.” For the invitation suite, we letterpress printed the invitations and reply cards, and digitally printed the back of each card to include vintage artwork featuring insects and leafy botanicals. Katie’s mother calligraphed the invitation envelopes, which featured a vintage floral print envelope liner and vintage postage stamps. It’s always a treat to spot our brides and grooms on the pages of Martha Stewart Weddings! Kate and Nick worked with the team at our flagship store to customize our Deveril invitations for their July wedding on Fishers Island. Hand calligraphy accents by Sarah Hanna and a custom map of the island (printed on the backside of the invitations) added a personal touch to their classic letterpress wedding invitations. The bride and groom opted to print a combination website + RSVP card, and received the most creative and fun responses from their guests – including poems and videos! We loved spotting our Anais letterpress wedding invitations in the latest issue of Martha Stewart Weddings (see the feature here), so today we’re sharing close-ups of the entire invitation suite that we created for Tara and Dan. We collaborated with Jennifer at Invited to create the set, which included letterpress save the dates, invitations, and reply cards in watermelon and taupe inks on our white cotton paper. Coordinating envelopes were printed for each piece, including inner and outer envelopes for the invitations (which also featured taupe envelope liners and hand calligraphy by Butler’s Pantry). To carry their stationery style through to the wedding day, Tara and Dan created an amazing string art escort card display that mimicked both the invitation design and color palette! The summer 2016 issue of Martha Stewart Weddings is on stands now, and in it you’ll find a real Bella Figura wedding! Tara and Dan worked with our friends at Invited for their invitations, and chose our modern Anais design by Ian Koenig to set the tone for their spring wedding at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. The wedding was filled with chic DIY decor – including an elegant string + brass nail escort card display that echoed the invitations. Be sure to check out the latest issue of Martha Stewart Weddings for all the details!
We were thrilled to see our invitations in two recent issues of Martha Stewart Weddings! For the Fall 2015 edition, we printed our Annalise design by Sarah Hanna in rich, cardinal red ink for their “Red-Letter Day” feature, and for the Spring 2016 issue we worked with the editorial team to create a custom letterpress invitation in our lime-aid ink. Many thanks to the team at Martha Stewart Weddings for including us in both of these issues!
