Here is another case in which it’s obvious that the right design like our Lace design (by Maura Gaulthier) needs the right color. Annie P. Paperie says “pewter” and we say “absolutely!” This is a design that stands on its own and doesn’t need a whole lot of frills or embellishing to look beautiful.

Bella Figura’s letterpress wedding invitations have been featured in some fantastic publications lately, and thanks are long overdue for these amazing spotlights! Today we’ve got a round-up of some of the wonderful press we’ve received this spring. First up, a fabulous customization of our String Calligraphy design that was featured in an A-Z stationery guide by Martha Stewart Weddings. The featured piece was a letterpress rehearsal dinner invitation in hot pink ink with a perforated, tear-off reply postcard.
The April issue of Brides magazine featured Bella Figura invitations twice! A customization of our Lace invitations (complete with a custom, Lace patterned envelope liner!) fit in perfectly with a Black Lace trend watch, and our String Calligraphy design was also featured in a fabulous stationery guide.
The gorgeous Volume IV of Southern Weddings magazine included an amazing spread with a theme called “Paper, Cotton, and Flour”, and we were so thrilled to be a part of this fabulous photo shoot! Our Honoured Guest, Loretta Formal, Collection, Bradford, and Anais designs were all letterpress printed in pretty shades of blue for the shoot.
The winter edition of Stationery Trends Magazine showcased several Bella Figura designs as well: Typology, Magnolia, and Serenade were all featured throughout the issue.
We were also thrilled to be a part of the following photo shoots: Erica Ann Photography’s Scandinavian Inspired Bridal Shoot; Starfish Studios + Sugar(ed) Occasions Estancia Culinaria photo shoot (as seen on Style Me Pretty Florida!); a fabulous purple & gold inspiration shoot by Dana Fitzgerald and Katelyn James, as seen on The Wedding Chicks; and Equally Wed’s eco-inspired photo shoot. We’d also love to thank the following blogs for featuring Bella Figura invitations on their fabulous sites over the past few months: Style Me Pretty (times 2!), The Bride’s Guide on Martha Stewart Weddings, Oh So Beautiful Paper, Ruffled, Green Wedding Shoes, Elizabeth Anne Designs, 100 Layer Cake, Papercrave, Junebug Weddings, Brooklyn Bride, Eco-Beautiful Weddings, Invitation Crush, Heart Love Weddings, Love Me Do, One Fab Day, The Confetti Blog, and Chic Vintage Brides.
Using Maura Gaulthier‘s Lace design, this invite set features a gorgeous (and gutsy) combo of Cream, Watermelon, and Gold Matte Foil. Combined with Debi Zeinert’s modern Clermont style calligraphy, this set really rocks our socks. We owe the honor of printing this gorgeous set to our buds over at Paces Papers – thanks guys!

Our friends at Salutations in Charlotte, North Carolina submitted these springy letterpress wedding invitations and we loved the customization of our Lace design (by Maura Gauthier). The dusty pink and pewter inks enhance this design and the envelope liner pattern gives it a modern edge. We love Debi Zeinert’s Clermont hand calligraphy accents because they are so unique.

Earlier this year, we worked with Alice and Beth from Alice G. Patterson Photography on an amazing project we’re really excited to share. Featured recently on Green Wedding Shoes, this collaboration features some of our most popular letterpress invitation designs alongside some incredible miniatures. Alice and Beth set up these picturesque scenes and we were completely blown away with the end result — take a look!

We were so excited to recently have Brides ask us to create our dream invitation for the upcoming royal wedding. With our Lace letterpress invitations as our inspiration, we wanted to create something girly and a bit dreamy, perfect for a modern day princess celebrating a fairytale wedding. In shades of papaya and persimmon paired with whimsical script, we love this look for a formal yet playful wedding celebration. We envision them enclosed in envelopes with a fabulous liner, gorgeous hand calligraphy and a patchwork of vintage stamps to complete the look. Check out all of the designs on the Brides magazine website and many thanks to our friends at Brides for asking us to contribute!
