Cassie and Sean chose Gotham Hall in New York City for their opulent 1920’s inspired wedding last June. We helped set the tone for their celebration by creating a silver matte and gold shine foil take on our Fugue invitation design. The couple worked with Claudia at The Wedding Library to create a magical, Gatsby-like experience for their guests, with careful attention to detail on everything from the welcome bags to the signature cocktails. Here’s a peek at some of the photos and the highlight reel from their glamorous celebration – be sure to check out Brides for more details and photos!

Nina celebrated her sixteenth birthday in style with a semi-formal party for friends at The Musikfest Café. She customized our always edgy, always bold Fugue design in a fun and flashy color palette of regalia letterpress ink and indigo shine foil. Regalia edge painting finished off these funky and dramatic sweet sixteen invitations.

Courtney and Evan fell for our Fugue foil stamped wedding invitations and didn’t stray far from the original. They opted to keep the lavish, double foil look but personalized it by switching to our ultra modern #10 size card and adding hand calligraphy from Sarah Hanna. The end result is bold and edgy and a perfect compliment to their Washington, DC museum wedding.

From the start the Fugue design by Kamal has captivated us by being so unique. That’s why we are completely smitten by this silvery delight. Our silver matte and silver shine foil inks enhance the cascading design and pops of our sea-side letterpress ink add a trendy splash of color.

We love seeing the real weddings of our customers, but it’s an extra-special treat when we get to see them in print! Martha Stewart Weddings magazine featured not one, but two real weddings of Bella Figura brides & grooms in their Fall 2012 issue. The first wedding featured our modern Pyramid design by Ellie Snow, while the second showcased our Garden Vine design by Erin Jang. Check out some of the other fantastic publications that Bella Figura has been spotted in this fall.
Inside Weddings included several Bella Figura invitations for their Fall 2012 issue as well — Kelle Anne McCarter’s Canto design, Lindsy Aragona’s Overlook design and a customization of Jamie Lea Bertsch’s Cecilia all shared the spotlight.
Town & Country Weddings put together a fabulous round-up of inspiration for a New York City wedding, and included a gorgeous customization of our Charmed New York invitation design as part of the feature.
Pacific Weddings magazine included Ian Koenig’s Dash design and Jamie Lea Bertsch’s Indie Twill design in their gorgeous, equestrian-inspired reception set-up. Bonus: they’ve got even more photos from this amazing shoot on their website!
Brides magazine featured Bella Figura in both their October and their November issues! In October, letterpress place cards featuring our Rosemary design were included as part of a Tuscan Garden inspiration palette. The November issue featured several Bella Figura designs — our Bejeweled design fit in perfectly with a “Roaring Twenties” inspiration page (which is overflowing with glamorous, Gatsby-esque touches) and three of our foil stamped invitations (Dada by Jamie Lea Bertsch; Glamorous Blooms and Fugue by Kamal) were included in an “All that Glitters” feature.

Our latest letterpress wedding invitation release was full of many modern gems, but today we’re sharing the top 6 modern invitations so far from 2012. We’ve noticed neon shows its pretty little head in a sophisticated way (or think about neon edge painting on a very formal invite!). Black ink on a modern letterpress design keeps things formal while still feeling new. Foil, of course, is on the list — we are especially loving double foil (think matte silver and shiny silver, or silver paired with gold). You’ll find names in oversized fonts, along with slightly untraditional text layout and minimal design. Want to see more? Check out all of our modern wedding invitations here.
