Ivy League style was the inspiration for this preppy Bar Mitzvah invitation based on our Dash design. A collegiate color palette along with an argyle patterned envelope liner pay homage to prep schools and ping pong.

We love our Dash design for any less formal but still elegant affair. Erin and Jonathan didn’t stray far from the original design but did accent the design’s motifs in gold matte foil and added our simple lace patterned liner, adding just enough flair to their black and gold wedding invitations.

Our letterpress wedding invitations have received some amazing publicity lately, so today it’s time again to say thank you to the amazing editors who have shined the spotlight on Bella Figura this spring! Our first feature is from Martha Stewart Weddings, where we created foil stamped and letterpress wedding invitations for one of their gorgeous real weddings. Megan, the bride, submitted the artwork for us to print — we love the glamorous outcome!
Inside Weddings featured our Pinterest-inspired design, A Bientot, in their spring 2013 issue.
Weddings by The Ritz-Carlton Magazine featured an elegant customization of our Amor design by Sarah Hanna in their January – June 2013 issue.
Several of our letterpress wedding invitations were featured in the spring issue of The Knot: our popular gold foil stamped Divya Formal invitation, the modern Dash invitation, and our minimalist Alton invitation were all shown throughout this issue.
Brides magazine featured Bella Figura in several of their recent issues: first, a lovely lavender customization of our Lenox Botanical design was featured in the April / May issue, along with menus, place cards, and favor cards from our Circolo suite.

This wonderful Dash (by Ian Koenig) letterpress wedding invitation set was sent to us by our friends at Aileen Invitations. What really ties this set together is the jute envelopes and the beautiful simple lace envelope liner.

This version of Ian Koenig‘s Dash design features a hand drawn (and really adorable) illustration of the Bride and Groom. The illustration was penned by our friend Carolynn Giordano, and it’s folky, handdrawn style just fits this design so perfectly. Custom design charges apply for this kind of thing, so please get in touch if you’re interested in something similar.

We love seeing the real weddings of our customers, but it’s an extra-special treat when we get to see them in print! Martha Stewart Weddings magazine featured not one, but two real weddings of Bella Figura brides & grooms in their Fall 2012 issue. The first wedding featured our modern Pyramid design by Ellie Snow, while the second showcased our Garden Vine design by Erin Jang. Check out some of the other fantastic publications that Bella Figura has been spotted in this fall.
Inside Weddings included several Bella Figura invitations for their Fall 2012 issue as well — Kelle Anne McCarter’s Canto design, Lindsy Aragona’s Overlook design and a customization of Jamie Lea Bertsch’s Cecilia all shared the spotlight.
Town & Country Weddings put together a fabulous round-up of inspiration for a New York City wedding, and included a gorgeous customization of our Charmed New York invitation design as part of the feature.
Pacific Weddings magazine included Ian Koenig’s Dash design and Jamie Lea Bertsch’s Indie Twill design in their gorgeous, equestrian-inspired reception set-up. Bonus: they’ve got even more photos from this amazing shoot on their website!
Brides magazine featured Bella Figura in both their October and their November issues! In October, letterpress place cards featuring our Rosemary design were included as part of a Tuscan Garden inspiration palette. The November issue featured several Bella Figura designs — our Bejeweled design fit in perfectly with a “Roaring Twenties” inspiration page (which is overflowing with glamorous, Gatsby-esque touches) and three of our foil stamped invitations (Dada by Jamie Lea Bertsch; Glamorous Blooms and Fugue by Kamal) were included in an “All that Glitters” feature.

Our friends at Brenda Himmel Stationery submitted this great tea-length version of our Dash design (by Ian Koenig). Our garden ink looks crisp on these letterpress wedding invitations. The envelopes were submitted but we do carry out jute colored envelopes in select sizes!

As part of our “Do Good in March” promotion (where you have the chance to win a grand prize of 100 free invitations and everyone who enters gets 25 free invitation sets with the purchase of 50 or more!), we’re hoping to inspire others to get out and do good this month. We rounded up some of our favorite quotes to inspire you and have paired them up with some of our favorite designs — check them out!

Our latest letterpress wedding invitation release was full of many modern gems, but today we’re sharing the top 6 modern invitations so far from 2012. We’ve noticed neon shows its pretty little head in a sophisticated way (or think about neon edge painting on a very formal invite!). Black ink on a modern letterpress design keeps things formal while still feeling new. Foil, of course, is on the list — we are especially loving double foil (think matte silver and shiny silver, or silver paired with gold). You’ll find names in oversized fonts, along with slightly untraditional text layout and minimal design. Want to see more? Check out all of our modern wedding invitations here.
