Over the past several months we’ve continued printing a lot of fabulous letterpress save the dates for upcoming spring and summer 2010 weddings. Recently we printed two customizations of a save the date design that we absolutely loved and couldn’t resist sharing both with you!
This version of our Champagne letterpress save the date is printed in fuchsia and pewter inks and features corner rounding for the perfect finishing touch.
This very different version of our Champagne design is printed in wine and clover inks. It’s a perfect example of how one design can be personalized in two unique ways and be equally perfect for two very different events.
When we’re working with couples to create their letterpress wedding invitations, we love seeing just how different they make one of our original designs by playing with personal details. This customization of our Champagne invitation is a perfect example of a couple who truly made a design their own. They opted for a subtle cream ink paired with black ink for all of the type on our thick 2-ply cotton paper, with metallic gold edge painting and a luxurious metallic gold envelope liner. It is sophisticated and completely elegant, perfect for their New York City wedding.
This cheerful customization of our Floweret letterpress wedding invitation design is one of our favorite customizations of this particular design. It’s printed in champagne and cloud 9 blue inks and paired with a chic navy envelope liner. We also worked with the couple to customize the design to include more of the playful flower motif along the left side of the invitation, a change from the original design. They chose Memoir script for a really fun look that is whimsical, but still somewhat traditional. We love this personalization of our Floweret design – it’s definitely a new favorite!
While the rest of the world is gearing up for the holidays, around here we’re hard at work helping couples prepare for their upcoming summer 2010 weddings. We’ve been printing a lot of really fabulous letterpress save the dates in recent weeks and had to take a moment to share a couple of our latest favorites. Both of these customizations are great examples of how completely personal you can make one of our Bella Figura letterpress designs just by playing with ink colors, fonts and layout.
This fun letterpress save the date is a customization of our Champagne design, printed here in amethyst and garden inks. The layout is simple, keeping the emphasis on the sans serif type asking guests to save the date. A website address is provided in the lower corner so guests have easy access to further details and information about the event while keeping the design of the save the date itself clean and modern.
Using our Mimosa design, this couple opted for a vertical orientation with champagne and garden inks to make this design their own. The play between all lowercase serif type and all uppercase serif type for their names makes it a bit more playful and fun than a more traditional layout. We love these vibrant colors – they’ll be perfect for a summer wedding!
When checking out our letterpress gallery, keep in mind that all of our designs can be easily customized to suit the personality of your event. Love a design but wish it were printed in red instead of purple? We can do that and much more to help you make a design uniquely yours, just as we did with these two couples when designing their save the dates. We’ve been loving the recent trend of festive yellow and gray weddings and the opportunity to print these gorgeous letterpress wedding invitations in our Dewdrop design only served to solidify our love for this hot color palette. This customization uses a fun square shape, bright champagne and pewter inks, and even features a cute square reply card that directs guests toward the couple’s website for online replies. We love how personal and fun this invitation suite is and how it reinvents one of our favorite designs from our 2009 collection. Stay tuned for more great Dewdrop letterpress wedding invitation customizations this week!
With Labor Day weekend upon us and with it the threat of the long Central New York winter we know is to come looming in the not so far off distance, we can’t help but smile at this pretty, sunshine-inspired letterpress thank you note. A cheerful take on our Estrella letterpress wedding invitation design, it features bright champagne and persimmon inks. We think it’s a lovely ode to long sunny summer days.
Happy long weekend! May your holiday weekend be filled with lots of sunshine and happy smiles.
Martha Stewart Weddings calls our Champagne letterpress wedding invitation a “perfect palette” and a warm welcome.
