We worked with our friends at Prickly Pear Press to create these colorful and modern welcome party invitations. Our Briolette sample set the stage for the design inspiration. We updated the colors to Tawny Shine, Clover, Pastel Blue, and Whisper for a summery pop. The elegant ombre envelope liner is the perfect compliment to the invitation card!
We have our friends at Prickly Pear Press in Midland, Texas to thank for these geometric couples shower invitations based on our Briolette design. Rose gold foil was paired with a palette of blues and greens for a look that was gender-neutral enough for the bride and the groom. A foil stamped envelope liner in rose gold added another trace of shine to this bold customization.
foil stamping: rose gold shine | digital inks: prussian blue + celadon + cream + pool | fonts: gotham + pike | paper: bella smooth cotton white 1-ply | envelope: bella cotton white | foil stamped liner: hector pattern in rose gold shine | Prickly Pear Press | customization #38258
Kristen and John worked with our friends at Magnificent Milestones to customize our Briolette design for their Chicago wedding. Their geometric wedding invitations played off the industrial elegance of their venue, Morgan Manufacturing. Because they had so many accessory cards in their suite, Kristen and John opted to use a custom pocketfold to keep everything organized for their guests. To keep the enclosure securely closed we added a coordinating belly band to tie the ensemble together and bring more of the Briolette design into their stationery suite. They carried this design throughout their wedding, including their personalized place cards, seen here on our blog.
foil stamping: gold matte | digital inks: prussian blue + cream + celadon + shell | fonts: jeeves + sans capitals | paper: bella smooth cotton white 1-ply + submitted | pocketfold: gold leaf belly band: foil + inks above | envelope: bella cotton white | liner: classic color pattern in shell | Magnificent Milestones | customization #34039
Personalized place cards, escort cards and table numbers are yet another way to use your stationery to express your wedding style. Let us digitally print your guests’ names, table numbers or both on your reception pieces to showcase your stationery design, colors and fonts throughout your event.
We printed these flat escort cards and table numbers in navy digital ink, using our Gus design as inspiration.
Since digital printing allows you to print in multiple colors it is a great way to designate meal choices in a subtle way – as seen here on these folded place cards inspired by our Briolette design.
If you’ve been by the Bella Figure flagship store recently, you’ve seen our sweet collaboration with Madison Lee’s Cakes: invitation inspired cakes! We worked with Madison to create a collection of cakes inspired by some of our invitations, opting for a few modern styles for one half of the window, and a selection of floral designs for the other. Madison recreated our English Garden design by Chelsea Petaja in cake form with hand painted watercolor florals that look just like the invitation! Our Adele design by Ellie Snow inspired a second cake, with handmade sugar flowers adorning the top and piped gold florals cascading down the sides.
The more modern side of the window features our geometric Briolette design by Ellie Snow, our on-trend, marbled Onyx design by Jamie Lea Bertsch, and our ever-popular confetti inspired Joie de Vivre by Kamal. The Joie de Vivre cake includes hundreds of hand cut, hand painted gold sugar confetti pieces!
And last, but certainly not least, our entryway display! Madison created a petite cake modeled after the sea-side Vincent customization we created for the spring 2016 issue of New York Weddings magazine, with a watercolor effect and splashes of metallic gold.
Interested in seeing the cakes in person? Visit our flagship store in New York City from now through May 20th! The shop is open every day from 11am – 7pm and is located at 1031 Lexington Avenue (at 74th Street).
Our friends at Urbanic Paper Boutique worked with Karen and David on their modern geometric wedding invitations, using our Briolette design as inspiration. They were married at The Parker Palm Springs and chose these invitations to compliment the hip and chic atmosphere The Parker is known for. A retro color palette of prussian blue, pale gray and a custom pink were highlighted by gold matte foil and a classic color envelope liner in prussian blue added a hint of sophistication.

We recently had the pleasure of participating in Martha Stewart’s 2016 Wedding Party, an amazing bridal show produced by Claudia Hanlin and our friends at The Wedding Library for New York City brides and grooms. The event took place at Gotham Hall on a sunny Sunday morning, just a few hours after the travel ban was lifted after the historic winter storm Jonas. The Wedding Party had bands playing throughout the day, delicious cake tastings, a variety of venues and registry options, talented florists and event designers, models floating about in gorgeous wedding gowns, travel coordinators for dreamy honeymoon destinations — and those were just a few of the different types of vendors attendees had the opportunity to visit with. Bella Figura calligrapher Debi Zeinert had a table next to us, offering on the spot calligraphy and giving everyone a personalized memento to take home. Fleurs NYC provided us with beautiful fresh flowers for our event displays, which featured new designs from our 2016 collection and some of our bestsellers. Take a peek at our display!
We worked with Hercules Candy Company, a Syracuse-based chocolate shop, to create custom chocolate bars that we printed labels for (featuring artwork from our new Adele design!) to give out as a treat to attendees. We worked with another Syracuse company – the Black Arts Studio – to create our a beautifully printed table runner for the event as well.
Martha Stewart and Darcy Miller gave a talk at the beginning of the event, and made the rounds to see all of the different vendors – including us! It was an honor to meet Martha and have her check out our newest designs — definitely the highlight of the event.
We were thrilled to see the new invitations from our 2015 collection up on Oh So Beautiful Paper today! Nole shared some of her favorites, plus a special offer for Oh So Beautiful Paper readers – three free samples! Hurry over and check out the post — then shop our collection to get your free samples.
