Julia and Christopher epitomized their New Orleans venue, Latrobe’s, on their chic typographic wedding invitations with the help of one of our talented illustrators. Our Alcott design inspired the layout and typography while the addition of custom illustrations and a city map envelope liner paid homage to the Big Easy.

Using our Alcott design as inspiration, Lindsey and Steven worked with our friends at The Write Image to create these pale blue and gold letterpress wedding announcements and invitations. Virginia Lucas Hart’s whimsical hand calligraphy was added throughout the suite to soften the modern typography and add a touch of romantic color.

The clean, modern typography and abundance of white space on our Alcott design have made it a go-to for couples looking for classic letterpress wedding invitations with a contemporary twist. Jordan and Eric opted for a horizontal layout and a pale gray striped envelope liner to match the original design’s barely-there fog ink.

With a few alterations, our Alcott design is transformed into romantic modern watercolor wedding invitations. The floral artwork from the envelope liner is now a moody backdrop in barely there gray, while the minimal typography makes a bold statement in copper foil.
