Alexandra and Peter chose the Glen Manor House in Rhode Island as the romantic backdrop for their wedding this past summer. They customized our Augustine Damask wedding invitations by changing from an allover pattern to a border that framed their formal text and opted for a soft, neutral palette of sand ink and silver matte foil. Our Lincoln diecut shape and a metallic silver liner further personalized their set, as did the motifs they added throughout.

Kristina and Jeffrey customized our Colette design for their gold foil and letterpress menus and ceremony programs. They chose a classic color palette of gold matte and charcoal that wouldn’t compete with their venue and used Kelle McCarter’s hand calligraphy to add a hint of whimsy and fun.

For their calligraphy wedding invitations, Megan and Todd chose one of our handdrawn motifs to accompany Nicole Black’s hand lettering. The motif was carried throughout their suite in different sizes – on the invitation encircling their calligraphed monogram, framing the weekend events card and even as tiny accents on the reply card.

Our annual sample sale is back! From now through October 26, all of our wedding invitation samples are on sale for $1 each – and we’ll plant a tree with Onondaga Earth Corps for every sample purchased!
To purchase samples, browse through our invitations and click on your favorite designs. Then, click the “order sample” button on the right side of the page (you can also add samples to your cart right from the gallery by hovering on each image and clicking the “order sample” button). After you’ve selected all of the samples you’d like to purchase, click on the shopping cart in the upper right-hand corner of your screen to proceed to the checkout – it’s that easy!

Amanda and Joshua re-imagined our Birch design to create these luxurious faux bois wedding invitations for their Palm Beach union. On the invitation, a wood grain pattern was foil stamped in our lovely pearl shine foil with their text printed over top in silver matte foil. That same wood grain pattern peeked through the oversize digits on their save the date, printed in pearl shine foil.

We are excited to announce that our flagship store in New York City is now open! Located at 1031 Lexington Avenue, the store will offer our entire range of custom wedding invitations and social stationery, as well as custom invitations and everyday stationery essentials from our sister company and BFF, Smock. Bella Figura store manager Linda Hays is an invitation expert with over 12 years of experience personalizing custom invitations, announcements, social stationery, and more. The store is open from 11am until 7pm Tuesday through Saturday. Walk-ins are welcome, but we encourage you to schedule a consultation right from our website!
Here’s a look inside the store – which includes a few sneak peeks of our new designs for 2016! Our creative lead Jessica Tierney dreamed up the forest-inspired window displays, complete with mossy greenery, terrariums, cascading leaves, and of course — letterpress wedding invitations.
To celebrate the opening of the store, we’re hosting an open house next week on Wednesday, October 14th – Bella Figura calligrapher Debi Zeinert will be calligraphing personalized art prints, among other fun surprises! If you’re in the city on Wednesday, be sure to stop by! We created a mailer to promote the open house using Adele, one of our new 2016 designs by Ellie Snow. We customized the design and printed it using black and french vanilla inks with copper foil on our thick, 2-ply white Bella cotton paper, and we created a custom foil stamped liner in copper foil over a digitally printed french vanilla background.

Stephanie sent these swanky fiftieth birthday invitations to invite guests to share in her milestone birthday. Our ever elegant Carlyle design gains plenty of glamour when printed at an angle in silver shine foil on our 2-ply white bella cotton paper.

To compliment the rustic elegance of their venue, Melissa and Patrick customized our Mumbai Scrolls wedding invitations with a color palette of raspberry and persimmon inks and gold shine foil. A colorful envelope liner in the same palette tied the whole set together.

Danielle and James customized our Credence calligraphy wedding invitations by using a popular wedding verse penned by calligrapher Debi Zeinert. Their palette of french vanilla and navy letterpress inks subtly complimented their Nashville venue while the same colors accented the edges of their cards and the envelope liner.
