Today’s New York City wedding is overflowing with elegance! Melissa and Aaron worked with our friends at The Village Invites to create their Napa calligraphy wedding invitations by Sarah Hanna. Letterpress printed in our Prussian Blue ink, their timeless invitations helped set the tone for their black tie affair at Guastavino’s. The couple decided to do a first look in the courtyard of the Lotte Palace Hotel on Madison Avenue — check out a few of our favorite portraits below (and the amazing video that Joseph Edwards put together!), but be sure to head to ModWeddings to see more photos from their wedding!
Marie and Nathan worked with our friends at The Village Invites to design their vintage inspired gray and gold wedding invitations for their winter wedding in Florida. Using our A Bientot design as inspiration they made some alterations that gave the design a more refined feel – like switching to a vertical layout and swapping the sweet stripes for our more formal diego pattern.

Several of our new designs for 2016 have been featured lately by Inspired by This, and we just had to share! First up, a romantic rose gold take on our Leyton wedding invitations by Amy Graham Stigler was included in their round-up of elegant ideas for a ballroom wedding. We think Leyton is perfect for a more formal affair!
Inspired by This shared our English Garden design by Chelsea Petaja along with some of their other favorite pastel wedding details. This digitally printed floral wedding invitation features whimsical fonts and hand-painted watercolor florals.
Our friends at Wynwood Letterpress helped us customize these Asian inspired birthday invitations for Vivian’s fiftieth birthday bash at Komodo, an eatery in Miami that specializes in Southeast Asian cuisine. They kept the layout and fonts from our Cherry Blossom design and used the hand-illustrated lantern motifs from the save the date as inspiration for the envelope liner.
Inside Weddings put together the most gorgeous spread of romantic, springtime-inspired wedding invitations for their Spring 2016 issue. Our letterpress and foil stamped Adele design by Ellie Snow – new for 2016! – was included in the feature alongside a custom invitation that we created in collaboration with Elizabeth Grace. Both designs feature delicate florals, letterpress printing, foil stamping, and hand calligraphy, but the invitation from Elizabeth Grace features an extra-special embellishment: over 4,000 hand painted watercolor details! Many thanks to Inside Weddings for the spotlight!
Anicia and Carlos hosted their recent wedding at Estancia Culinaria, a ten-acre organic avocado farm just outside of Miami. Our friends at Sincerely Yours, Diane worked with the couple to create these rustic and elegant wedding invitations based on our Belsay design. They chose a palette of prussian blue and powder blue and highlighted important text in silver foil for a touch of shine. Their addition of our charleston diecut shape and our juniper liner in coordinating colors were sweet touches that further personalized their set.
letterpress inks: prussian blue + powder blue | foil stamping: silver shine | fonts: aster + engravers + moravia | paper: bella cotton white 1-ply + 2-ply | diecut style: charleston | envelope: bella cotton white | envelope liner: juniper pattern in prussian blue + powder blue + pale gray | Sincerely Yours, Diane | customization #31509

We were thrilled to see our invitations in two recent issues of Martha Stewart Weddings! For the Fall 2015 edition, we printed our Annalise design by Sarah Hanna in rich, cardinal red ink for their “Red-Letter Day” feature, and for the Spring 2016 issue we worked with the editorial team to create a custom letterpress invitation in our lime-aid ink. Many thanks to the team at Martha Stewart Weddings for including us in both of these issues!
Our friends at Cambridge Street Papers worked with Christina and Stephen on their art deco inspired wedding invitations, customizing our Oberon design for their November wedding. We used the pattern that is subtly printed on the original Oberon design to create a bold border that was foil stamped in tawny matte foil. The couple’s font-inspired duogram was printed at the top of their invitation as well as on their metallic white gold envelope liner, further personalizing their elegant suite.

We loved reading through all of the proposal stories we received during our 2016 Proposal Story Contest with Once Wed! Rachel and Rob are our winners, and their sweet story started at a barbecue festival in the big apple! Fast track to a few years later, when the couple decided to treat themselves to a Caribbean vacation after finishing their first half marathon together. They spent their first day on the beach, and as the sun was setting, Rob told Rachel about the real reason for their trip: he said they’d be celebrating that night, and proceeded to get down one one knee and give a heartfelt speech. After lots of big happy tears, the pair sat down to dinner and Face-timed their parents with the good news: Rob didn’t drop the ring in the water and Rachel said yes!
Many thanks to everyone who shared their stories with us, and a special thanks to Emily from Once Wed for helping us choose our winners!
