Our friends at Lion in the Sun helped us to create these coastal letterpress wedding invitations for Kelli and Richard. Our Waterfront design reflected the aesthetic of their New Jersey venue perfectly. Deep Blue and Pool letterpress inks on the invitation set the cooler palette for the rest of the suite to follow. Additions of our Bella Light Gray on the envelopes as well as details card added a touch of softness to the suite as well. Finally, a vintage map envelope liner gave this set an extra touch of personalization.

Tim celebrated his 50th birthday at the FlyNYON terminal this past March. To kick things off, these blind embossed birthday invitations set the tone for the celebration to come. They opted for Bella Gray paper in 2 ply that gave the embossing even further dimension. To add more vibrancy, Silver Matte foil added a level of shine to a more tone on tone palette. Similarly, Silver Matte can be spotted on the geometric envelope liner pattern. And finally, a big thanks to Ink Papery for helping us create aeronautical invitations!

Our Bella Blue paper has never looked better than it does with Silver Shine reflecting brightly off the page. We worked with Papery & Cakery to create these classic silver foil wedding invitations for Andrea and Howard. To set the tone for their big day at The Breakers in Palm Beach, they needed an invitation equally as timeless as their venue. A color scheme of Navy and Silver Shine carried throughout the suite kept everything consistent. Our Lincoln die-cut added a further level of luxury to an already elegant design. We have no doubt this couple’s day was just as beautiful as their invitations.

There’s something striking about an invitation with a crisp letterpress impression that we can’t get enough of. Samantha and David’s modern pewter letterpress wedding invitations are no exception to that! The couple worked with our flagship store to create this contemporary yet moody suite. Similarly to the invitation, the reply and rehearsal dinner cards printed in Pewter created further consistency. To contrast, the information card printed in Silver Matte with a Bella Black backdrop gave this set an element of surprise. Prism Shine foil edging added around the outside of the invitation created a pop of color that would wow guests. Finally, a Bella Black envelope lined with a marble pattern enclosed this modern yet moody suite.

Christina and Pierrick worked with Maddie Merriweather, Inc. to create these sweet foil save the dates for their June wedding. This save the date printed on our Bella Light Gray paper was the perfect glimpse into the couple’s elegant day to come at the Roaring Gap Club in North Carolina. Hand calligraphy elements with a hand-drawn cartouche enclosing the bride and groom to be’s names added personal touches to this save the date.

From weddings to mitzvahs, we always love seeing different kinds of invitations made for a variety of special occasions come through our shop and bridal showers are no exception to that! The host of this particular day, Joan Bergen, worked with Fete Collection to create these romantic letterpress bridal shower invitations for the bride to be. They chose a color palette of Prussian Blue letterpress and Carolina letterpress with our Bella Blue envelopes to match creating an overall sense of monochromatic harmony. Our popular Sophia script font made sure the bride to be’s name stood out from everything else while hydrangeas printed in Carolina gave this sweet invitation an added touch of romance.

Using our Carly design as inspiration, our friends at Magnificent Milestones helped Ashley and Robert design these Chicago skyline wedding invitations for their recent celebration. The bold typography was printed in black letterpress and the subtle skyline was foil stamped in silver matte foil. We printed an allover digital ombre effect behind the text and skyline for loads of drama and modern sophistication. That same ombre pattern was repeated on the reply card and envelope liner while black envelopes added elegant drama.

When looking for traditional invitations that will reflect the elegance and formality of your wedding, look no further than calligrapher Sarah Hanna. Joanne and William worked with our friends at Fete Collection to customized Sarah’s Napa design for their recent Massachusetts wedding and the end result is a picture of stationery perfection. Their hand calligraphy wedding invitations were letterpress printed in prussian blue on our ultra thick ivory smooth cotton paper and paired with a solid gold liner and bella blue reply envelopes for a touch of modern flair.

When asked to contribute to a feature for Money magazine about the cost of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding invitations, we were more than happy to chime in! 600 guests were lucky enough to receive an invitation to the royal wedding. For those who received one of these beauties in the mail, they opened their envelopes to find a die-stamped invitation burnished in gold with black text, containing beveled and gilded edges. Space was left purposefully for their calligrapher to handwrite guest names once printed. These invitations are the definition of elegance and no expense was spared to achieve that look.
If you are looking to recreate a royal replica, that’s certainly something we can do with our engraving printing process. Whenever someone thinks of engraving, they think of tradition and refined luxury. These type of invitations are typically typographically based with ornate script adorning the card – similar to the look of Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding invitation!
If you are loving the vibe of their invitation, but are not so keen on the cost, there are always other options available to you. We can achieve the same kind of look through letterpress and foil stamping as an alternative to engraving. It’s easy enough to keep the elegant integrity of Harry and Meghan’s design, but instead of raised ink, the ink would be pressed into the beautiful paper. This kind of printing is equally as lovely, but allows for even more design experimentation should you want to add any whimsy to a more formal set that engraving might not allow for.

Our Morocco design is carried horizontally like Harry and Meghan’s, featuring Partial Flourish hand calligraphy accents by Ted Clausen for an extra touch of luxury.
The royal couple’s wedding invitation features beveling (a sloping edge) and while this isn’t something we offer currently, we are able to add foil edging or edge painting to the sides of the invitation itself. We can also mimic the royal invitation in a reimagined way by using a Gold Matte border or a letterpress ink color instead, like what’s shown on our Chatsworth design in French Vanilla.
The blind-debossed pattern in the background of our Oberon design adds a level of sophisticated intrigue to a more traditional layout.
Faunus V.2. shows off what you can do with foil stamping that might not be necessarily achievable through engraving with intricate florals in each corner. The Marsala letterpress ink compliments the Tawny Matte foil providing a royal and elegant overall look.
Colleen and Matthew worked with our friends at Ipanema Press to create these classic black letterpress wedding invitations for their New York City wedding. They started with our ever-popular Deveril design but opted for a vertical layout on ivory paper for an ultra formal feel. They added a blind debossed border and an elegant flourish in tawny foil. Together with black envelopes and a black and tawny foil stamped liner, these simple additions exuded sophistication and understated elegance.

Our friends at Inviting Place worked with Barbara and Arlo to create these golden anniversary invitations to celebrate their milestone anniversary and joint birthdays. We brought in our Bella Gray paper on the belly band and reply envelope to compliment the charcoal and gold matte palette used throughout the suite.
