Designer Sierra Detrick is no stranger to worldly inspiration. “Growing up, I based many of my projects in school and in personal pieces around multi-cultural arts,” she says. “The diverse creativity of the world still heavily influences me today.”

She found inspiration for her Morocco design in the vibrant hues and intricate details seen often in Moroccan design. “I was really taken with modernized versions of the Moroccan-style tiling I was seeing in home design,” says Sierra. “I decided to create my own tile pattern that could be used throughout a wedding invitation suite and paired it with a very simplistic but elegant body of text. I didn’t want the copy to compete too much with this vibrant pattern, but I still wanted it to be able to stand on it’s own. Ted Clausen’s ornate hand calligraphy added just the right amount of sophistication.”

The summer 2018 issue of Martha Stewart Weddings features trending wedding stationery for 2018 and we are thrilled to spot our “Sun-Kissed Celebration” Limon wedding invitation in their Style section. Designed by Jessica Downs, Limon highlights watercolor artwork with a fresh pop of vivid yellow and green hues and features black letterpress ink. Many thanks to Martha Stewart Weddings for this feature.

With help from our friends at Rugg Road Paper Company, Lauren and Bradley customized our Jorie design for their wedding at The Addison. They chose a palette of taupe letterpress ink and bronze shine foil and accented the sketched floral artwork with blind deboss printing. A metallic copper envelope liner added an additional hint of elegance to their formal, pointed-flap envelope.

“My main source of inspiration for the Lara design was goat soap packaging,” says designer Racheal Bumbolo.  “From there I envisioned a simple, summer soirée in a barn with vintage and wooden accents – very organic in feel.”

They customized our Estate design with custom green paper and used coordinating myrtle letterpress ink to bring green in on their accessory pieces. Gold matte foil was used throughout the suite, including on the full foil envelope liner.
