Rules and details:
Entry period: Your good deed must happen between April 1 – April 30, 2013. Good deed submissions must be uploaded to the Bella Figura Do Good 2013 Pinterest board by 6pm EST on Tuesday, April 30 to be eligible. Participation: Please allow 1 business day to be added to our “Do Good: 2013” board.
Prizes: Everyone who follows the guidelines above and uploads a photo or video of their good deed to Pinterest will be eligible for 25 free additional invitation sets with the purchase of 50 or more [you must purchase at least 50 invitation sets]. We will email you a coupon with a unique code for your free invitation sets after we have received your entry. We love helping our Bella brides create their dream wedding invitations (and we love when they send us a glimpse of their special day!). Andrea, one of the brides we worked with this summer, selected our Aria design (by Maybelle Imasa-Stukuls) in silver shine foil and charcoal letterpress for her wedding invitations. She incorporated hand calligraphy accents in our Bescal style, and added corner rounding, foil edging and belly bands to embellish her invitation suite. Pewter and sea mist envelope liners in our European formal pattern were used to line her silver envelopes. The end result? Simply stunning.

Election Day is November 6, so you know what that means — it’s time for our annual Election Day Sale! Head to the polls on November 6 and take a photo of yourself voting (or afterwards, with your “I voted” sticker!). We had so much fun creating our two new Pinterest inspired designs that we’re having another Pinterest contest and giving you the chance to inspire a new design for our 2013 collection! Plus, you’ll have the chance to win 100 letterpress party invitations that you could use for save the dates, a birthday party, baby announcements, or even a backyard BBQ!
Here’s how it’s going to work: we’re looking for inspiration from a place that you love. It could be anywhere: your favorite vacation spot, where you got engaged (or married!), a pretty spot in the woods, or even your own backyard. Create a board on Pinterest and name it My Favorite Place, then upload an inspiring photo of your special place to the board to get started. In the caption, tell us why it holds an important place in your heart. Don’t spare any details – we want to hear your stories!
Then, fill your board with at least 20 other pins that match the look and feel of your initial pin. What we’re looking for: a cohesive board overflowing with beauty! Pin images that mimic the feeling and match the style of your original photo. Feel free to continue telling your story in the captions of the other pins! Check out our sample board for ideas to get you started.
In addition to the 20 pins, you must pin the image below to your board, as well as your favorite Bella Figura envelope liner. To pin your favorite liner pattern, just use the handy tool on our website to customize an envelope liner with a pattern and colors that match your style, and in the caption, include the name of the pattern (like this!).
Our lead designer Jessica Tierney will be judging the contest and one of our talented designers will be creating an invitation suite based on the winning board. Judging will begin on July 23, and the winner will be announced on July 27. The new Pinterest-inspired design will be released with our new collection in January 2013.

Today we share with you our trendy letterpress and foil design New Washi by Kamal. When Smudge Designs submitted this Bat Mitzvah order we were so excited to print it! The washi tape pattern is such a perfect design element and looks great on our envelopes!

“They didn’t have a “theme” so they were just searching for a beautiful design, something that was fun but still formal and elegant. Julia fell in love with the New Washi design, but deciding to turn it landscape made it even more unique. We even noticed that it slightly resembled the Star of David, which was perfect for a Bat Mitzvah. Julia knew very early on that she needed this exact shade of purple. They had been shopping at Sephora, and noticed it on a lipstick. Her mother had sent us a picture of the lipstick shade that we then matched to a pantone swatch. We thought the silver foil would be a perfect way to jazz up the invitation, and complement the purple.”
