Introducing Clio: New York Botanical Garden inspired wedding invitations
When designer Racheal Bumbolo was dreaming up her new Clio design, her main source of inspiration was the New York Botanical Garden.
“I felt that the New York Botanical Garden was absolutely extraordinary and wanted to combine nature with modern design and at touch of elegance,” says Racheal. “There is something ethereal about peaceful ponds, gardens and nature, and this really set the tone for where I wanted to go with this concept. Finding some vintage florals in soft whites, pinks and a nice touch of greenery was perfect – and a flutter of some butterflies to top it all off.”
We asked Racheal how she wants you to feel when you first open the envelope. “I hope that it makes you feel like you’ve walked right into a conservatory/botanical garden as soon as you’ve opened the envelope. Too bad we can’t make the butterflies fly right out of the envelope! That would be something!”
