We love calligraphy’s historical importance: before fonts, before type, before letterpress printing even, there was calligraphy. And the technology of calligraphy hasn’t changed much over thousands of years. We love how it’s still done by hand; no two letters that a calligrapher draws will ever be identical.

When we first encountered Debi Zeinert's calligraphy, we knew we had found something special. There's a joyful movement in her lettering, and we find in her calligraphy both whimsy and historical elegance. Because Debi pens by hand the calligraphy of each invitation design, your Classic Calligraphy invitation will be all your own, as unique as your wedding. We make our letterpress printing plates directly from Debi’s calligraphy artwork, which she creates the old-fashioned way, with a pen, ink, and paper.

Calligraphy monograms, and designs incorporating calligraphy with any of our typefaces, are available.

We're always happy to print this design using whichever ink colors you'd like, and we're happy to offer advice on color combinations as well. Also note that letterpress samples are available only in one color combination (the sample color photographed on our web site). With sample orders, we do include an ink book that shows all our alternate inks.
